Product · the Collaborative AI Pricing Workspace

One workspace for every price decision.

Bring your prices and costs together, build and analyse pricing work as a team, take it through your own approvals, hand it off and keep the complete record. AI assists at every step. People decide.

Margin exposure shows every product below your margin floor, and why.

The decision loop

From a pricing need to a recorded result, in one place.

Understand the context, frame the objective, develop the approach, analyse it, collaborate, apply your controls, decide, execute, monitor, and keep what you learned for next time.

  1. Spot it

Understand the context: prices, costs, evidence and past decisions, with margin exposure showing what needs attention.

  2. Plan it

Frame the objective. Create a pricing initiative with its type, scope, owner, priority and dates.

  3. Check it

Build the approach, analyse the economics and compare scenarios. Guardrails are checked as you go.

  4. Approve it

Review where required, then the right approvers decide on the exact version submitted.

  5. Hand off

Export the approved action with its effective date, for whoever changes prices in your systems.

  6. Record it

Record what was implemented, monitor the outcome and keep it all as reusable pricing knowledge.

Capabilities

Fourteen connected capabilities. One continuous workflow.

Each part of the workspace does one job well, and all of them share the same pricing record, so nothing is re-entered and nothing is lost between stages.

Organisation workspace

One secure workspace for your organisation, with its members, settings, rules and complete pricing history, isolated from every other organisation.

Products and pricing context

Products, SKUs and variants, services and other priceable items, with price and cost records, categories, tax basis, sources and dates.

Pricing initiatives

Each piece of pricing work lives in one initiative, from the first trigger to completion, so its context is never scattered.

Pricing Builder

Construct price changes, target margins, markdowns and rules across hundreds of items at once, in plain language, without code.

Analysis and scenarios

Gross profit, margin, markup and price change, calculated exactly, with alternative scenarios compared side by side.

Pricing proposals

The formal decision package. Frozen at submission, versioned on every material change, and bound to the decision made on it.

Collaboration and evidence

Comments, threads, mentions, assignments, documents and market observations, attached to the work they concern.

Review and approval

Review stages, routed approvals in sequence or together, deadlines, escalation, delegation and policy authorisation.

Roles and governance

Eleven roles, scope-based access, cost visibility controls, approval limits, guardrails and maker-checker, enforced by the system.

AI assistance

An assistant across the workspace that analyses, drafts, explains and summarises, inside your permissions and your AI data policy.

Execution and monitoring

Ready-for-execution handoff, implementation records, variance, partial rollouts, outcomes and whether the objective was met.

Versions, audit and knowledge

Every version, decision and action kept and attributed, and past pricing work searchable and reusable.

Work queues and notifications

Everyone sees what needs them: approvals, reviews, execution and due dates, in the product, by email and on the phone.

Export and handoff

Structured exports, execution files with your own product codes, handoff summaries and a connector to a selected business system.

Pricing initiatives

Every piece of pricing work gets one home.

A pricing initiative holds the objective, the scope, the owner, the priority, the dates, the assumptions, the people involved and every proposal, decision and record that follows.

Twelve ways pricing work starts

Each type brings the right structure without forcing every piece of work through the same steps.

Initiative types

  • Price increase
  • Price decrease
  • Scheduled price review
  • Cost-driven repricing
  • Margin protection
  • Competitor response
  • Promotion or campaign
  • New product or service
  • Inventory markdown or clearance
  • Category or portfolio review
  • Pricing strategy or rule change
  • Your own types of pricing work

A scope you can see exactly

Choose items one by one, or by category or product group. Owómidé resolves exactly which products, SKUs, variants or services are included, and tells you if any are already in another active initiative.

Narrowed by the dimensions you use

  • Location
  • Region
  • Channel
  • Customer group
  • Business unit
  • Vendor
  • Price list

Lifecycle

Everyone can see exactly where the work stands.

Every initiative follows the same lifecycle, so status means the same thing across your whole organisation. Work can move back as well as forward, and nothing earlier is ever overwritten.

  1. Initiated
  2. In Development
  3. In Review
  4. Awaiting Approval
  5. Ready for Execution
  6. Implemented
  7. Monitoring
  8. Completed
Dashed stages are used when your workflow needs them: formal review, and monitoring after implementation. On Hold pauses work without losing it. Cancelled ends it, with the reason recorded. Urgent work gets priority routing, faster notifications and shorter deadlines, never fewer controls.

A closer look

Built for control, not guesswork.

Build the pricing approach, without writing code.

The Pricing Builder is where the work takes shape. Every rule reads as a plain sentence, so anyone reviewing it can understand and challenge it.

  • Set a price, adjust by a percentage or an amount, or price to a target margin or markup.
  • Apply markdowns and promotional prices with start and end dates, and round the way you price.
  • Build across hundreds of items at once, with conditions and item-level exceptions where needed.
  • Describe what you want in plain English and let the assistant draft it. You see the change before anything is applied.
  • Reuse structures that worked before, without reusing anyone's approval.

See the economics before anyone decides.

Owómidé calculates every figure the same way every time. The AI assistant can explain a calculation, but it never does the calculating.

  • Margins are worked out on the price without VAT or sales tax, using the tax basis on every price.
  • Every figure can show its workings, back to the source file and date.
  • Missing or conflicting inputs show as Unable to evaluate, never as a pass.
  • Figures in different currencies are never mixed or silently converted.
  • The margin exposure view lists every current price that breaches your margin or cost guardrails.
  • Current priceor another baseline you name, kept distinct from the current price
  • Proposed priceset directly or calculated from your logic
  • Price changein amount and percentage, where it can be calculated
  • Applicable unit costthe right cost for the date, with its source
  • Gross profitper item and across the scope
  • Gross marginon the tax-exclusive price
  • Markupand target-markup prices
  • Promotions and markdownsdiscount and markdown prices worked out exactly

Compare the options. Your team chooses.

Lay out alternative approaches side by side against today's baseline. Scenarios stay exploratory until someone explicitly chooses one.

  • Your own estimates of volume or demand are marked as yours, never presented as facts.
  • Qualitative inputs, such as customer feedback or supplier notes, sit beside the numbers.
  • The options you did not choose stay in the history, with the reason.

Guardrails that hold, even under pressure.

Set your rules once: a minimum margin, the largest price change you accept, the deepest discount. Owómidé checks every proposed price against them before any decision, and records the result with the proposal.

WarningStays visibleThe work can continue, with the breach shown to everyone deciding.
EscalationAdds approversThe work takes the higher or extra approval path you set.
BlockingStops the workIt cannot go further until it is changed. No approval overrides it.
  • A second person confirms any change to your guardrails and governance settings.
  • Every change is versioned, so old decisions keep the rules that applied at the time.

Proposals that freeze the moment they are submitted.

A proposal is the exact action your team is asking to approve. At submission it is frozen with its prices, costs, tax basis, guardrail results and assumptions.

  • A material change after submission creates a new version. It never inherits the earlier approval.
  • Every decision stays attached to the exact version it was made on.
  • Versions can expire, and a newer version supersedes an older one. History keeps them all.

Proposal statuses

  • Draft
  • Awaiting Approval
  • Approved
  • Authorised Within Policy
  • Changes Requested
  • Rejected
  • Superseded
  • Expired

Approvals that match how your business decides.

Choose from supported settings to fit your organisation: who reviews, who approves, in what order and by when. No scripts, no fragile automation.

  • Optional review before approval, and routing by type of work or size of change.
  • One approver, several in sequence, or several required together, within their authority and scope.
  • Nobody can approve their own proposal, even if they hold an approver role.
  • Deadlines, escalation, delegation when someone is away, and approval withdrawal.
  • Policy authorisation: small, routine changes can be authorised within a policy you define. It is recorded as policy authorisation, never as a human approval, and AI never grants it.

From approved to live, on record.

Owómidé does not push prices into your till, ERP or marketplace. Once a proposal is approved and current, it is ready for execution: the exact action, version, effective date, owner and instructions in one place.

  • Export an execution file with your own product codes, new prices and effective dates, plus a printable handoff summary.
  • A handoff is not an implementation. The Executor records what went live, with a reference from your system.
  • Partial rollouts, failures with reasons and any difference from the approved price are all recorded.
  • The current price updates only for what was actually implemented. Earlier prices are kept.
  • Revert to a previous price through a new, approved initiative, and get reminders before temporary prices end.

Close the loop with the outcome.

Implementation is not the end of pricing work. Where it matters, keep watching what happened next and record whether the objective was met.

  • Record sales, volume, margin, revenue, and customer and commercial feedback over a monitoring period.
  • Compare with the baseline before the change.
  • Observed results, your own attribution and estimates are labelled separately. Owómidé never claims a price change caused a result on its own.
  • Start follow-up work from what you learned. Approved work is never edited afterwards.

Collaboration and evidence

Every conversation stays with the work it is about.

Finance, sales, procurement, operations and leadership contribute in the same place, attached to the exact initiative, proposal or version, instead of in scattered email and message threads.

Comments and threads

Discuss the work where it sits. Mark discussions resolved when they are.

Mentions and assignments

Bring someone in, or give them a task with a due date and a status everyone can see.

Evidence

Attach documents and links, with who added them, when and what they relate to.

Market observations

Shelf checks and supplier calls, entered by your team and marked as evidence, not verified data.

AI assistance

AI that works across your pricing, and never decides it.

Owómidé is AI-native: the assistant sits inside the work, not in a separate chat window. It only ever sees what the person using it is allowed to see.

What the assistant helps with

  • Understanding the pricing context and spotting missing or inconsistent information.
  • Drafting pricing work, including turning a plain-English instruction into structured pricing logic.
  • Interpreting analysis, comparing scenarios and explaining calculations and guardrail results.
  • Summarising discussions and preparing a proposal summary for its approver.
  • Finding relevant past pricing work, and summarising recorded outcomes.

What it can never do

  • Approve or authorise a proposal, or grant the right to execute one.
  • Execute a pricing action or change pricing work silently.
  • Act as the calculation or guardrail engine.
  • Go beyond the permissions of the person using it.

You see it before it applies

Every AI suggestion is previewed, and a person applies it. The history shows it as AI-suggested and who applied it.

Your AI data policy

Your Account Owner chooses one of three settings: AI disabled, AI enabled without cost and margin data, or AI enabled.

Work never depends on it

If AI is switched off or unavailable, every other part of the workflow keeps working. Your data is never used to train AI models.

History, queues and handoff

A memory your whole team can use, and a queue everyone can trust.

Complete history

Every version, comment, decision, export and implementation, attributed and time-stamped. Compare versions side by side. Nothing is silently overwritten.

Searchable pricing knowledge

Search and filter past initiatives, and reuse what worked, without reusing anyone's approval. Answer "why is this price what it is?" without digging through email.

Work queues

Personal queues for approvals, reviews and execution, with priorities, due dates, overdue items and escalations clearly shown.

Email and phone

Action-required events arrive in the product and by email with a direct link. Review and approve, reject or request changes from your phone.

Structured exports

Export pricing information and history for audit and analysis, with restricted cost data kept out for people who may not see it.

One connector, chosen with customers

CSV works everywhere. The first connector to another business system will be chosen with our customers, based on what they use.

From your first import to your first decision in days.

Our onboarding aims for your first implemented pricing decision within 72 hours of importing your data.

  • Set your country, markets, currency, time zone, default tax basis and AI data policy.
  • Invite your team with roles and, where needed, access limited to their categories, regions or channels.
  • Import products, prices and costs from a spreadsheet, or enter them by hand. Map columns, review every rejected row and duplicate, then commit.
  • Set your guardrails and approvers. Setup warns you if nobody could approve a decision yet.
  • If you ask for help, Owómidé support access is limited to the purpose you agree, time-boxed, logged, and can never approve or implement anything.

Three journeys

The pricing work Owómidé is built to carry, start to finish.

See how a pricing decision moves from the first signal to a recorded result.

Journey 1

A cost increase to an implemented price

  1. Detect. A new supplier cost file shows 40 SKUs below the 15% margin floor.
  2. Build. Target an 18% margin. Six SKUs would breach the 12% rise cap, so they move to their own initiative.
  3. Decide. The Finance Approver asks to hold three premium SKUs. Version 2, with 31 SKUs, is approved.
  4. Hand off and record. The execution file goes out; 28 go live, 3 fail with a reason, then are fixed.

The finished initiative answers every question without any outside email, spreadsheet or chat.

Journey 2

A promotion with start and end dates

  1. Scope. Small appliances, in selected stores and online, for one week.
  2. Build. A 25% markdown. Items below the floor escalate; one item is capped at 30% as an exception.
  3. Decide. Finance approves on desktop, then the Commercial Approver on a phone.
  4. End. Reminders list the prices to return to. The revert is recorded and the objective assessed.

Every decision stays attached to the exact approved version.

Journey 3

A new organisation to its first decision

  1. Set up. Country, currency, time zone, tax basis and AI data policy, in one session.
  2. Invite. A Pricing Manager, a Finance Approver and an Executor.
  3. Import and configure. Validate the data, set guardrails and the approver, and see your margin exposure.
  4. Decide. Complete the first real pricing decision, then support access ends.

Aim: the first decision implemented within 72 hours of the import.

Clear about what it does

Owómidé does the work. Your team makes the call.

What Owómidé does

  • Brings your pricing context, people and decisions into one workspace.
  • Calculates every proposed price exactly and checks it against your guardrails.
  • Routes decisions through your review and approval paths.
  • Exports approved actions and records what was implemented.
  • Keeps every version, decision, reason and outcome on record, and searchable.
  • Assists with AI, inside your permissions and your AI data policy.

Where your team stays in control

  • Reprice automatically, or execute prices without people.
  • Publish prices directly into your ERP, till or marketplace.
  • Collect competitor prices automatically. Your team records what it sees.
  • Optimise prices with machine learning, model elasticity or forecast demand.
  • Run electronic shelf labels or other pricing hardware.
  • Act as a general workflow tool, or let AI act as an approver.

Questions

Product questions, answered plainly.

Does Owómidé change prices in my till, ERP or marketplace?

No. Owómidé exports the approved action with your product codes, new prices and effective dates. Your team loads it into your systems and records what went live. You stay in control of every price your customers see.

Can we price services, not just products?

Yes. Owómidé works with products, SKUs and variants, services and other offerings you price directly, across locations, regions, channels, customer groups, business units, vendors and price lists.

Do we need an integration to start?

No. Start with a spreadsheet or enter data by hand. Owómidé checks every row and lists anything it cannot accept, with the reason, before anything is imported. Your team can use a checked export with existing business systems.

What does the AI assistant do, and can we switch it off?

It analyses, drafts, explains, compares and summarises, within the permissions of the person using it. It never approves, executes or calculates prices. Your Account Owner can switch AI off completely, or keep cost and margin data out of it.

Who can approve a price change?

People with an approver role and the authority for that type and size of change. Nobody can approve their own proposal. Small, routine changes can be authorised within a policy you define, recorded separately from human approvals.

What if our internet connection is unreliable?

Owómidé is built for unreliable connections. A dropped connection will not create duplicate approvals or half-saved decisions, and your work in progress is kept through short interruptions. It is not an offline app, so decisions need a connection to be recorded.

Where will our data be stored?

We will publish where workspace data is hosted, and how it is protected, before you start using the workspace. See Trust and security for our commitments.
